I am trying treat LA like a city I don’t live in. Like I am planning for a trip to LA and really do my research on where to go and what to eat. Luckily I have a man in my life who binge watches travel food shows and who encourages my taste buds to be more daring. (All while gently steering me away from things I want to like but I will regret like a vinegar based drink instead of a mango based. Ha!) This place made me happy I live in a city of cities. Off the main drag in Chinatown, Pok Pok is definitely where you need to go when you crave thai but need to be more adventurous than your usual order at your usual place. (Classic Meredith. Same place, same order every time. What can I say, I like the feeling of being a regular.)
Don’t judge the food by my pics. 😉 I was much more focused on devouring our meal than capturing beautiful shots of the decor.

Happy long weekend!
P.S. We also saw the new documentary Weiner. It was so fascinating and made the Good Wife fan in me come out something fierce!
